Majo Taisen is a Japanese anime TV series also known as "Magical Girl Wars." The storyline follows a magical girl named Marin who is sent to Earth to fight against other magical girls in a battle to become the most powerful. The series features elements of magical girl and mecha genres and aired in Japan from October to December 2014. Majo Taisen was produced by 8-Bit studio and directed by Keizou Kusakawa. The series was generally well-received by audiences and critics for its unique take on the magical girl genre.
